PUBLIC NOTICE
All having a claim against the Oklahoma City Public School District I-89 are notified that all invoices and required documentation pertaining to an approved purchase order for services rendered or goods or materials delivered pursuant to that purchase order must be recorded with the Encumbrance Clerk of the district on or before August 19, 2014 covering all debts now unpaid and incurred during the period of the prior fiscal year beginning on July 1, 2013 and ending on June 30, 2014 or the claim upon which the invoice or purchase order is based shall be void and forever barred.

This section shall not permit the incurring of new indebtedness chargeable to the appropriation account of the immediately preceding fiscal year. (70-5-187)

Purchasing Cut Off
The District’s FY2014 Purchasing Cut-Off has been set for February 28, 2015. All PRs must be entered and released SAP by this date. Budgets will be swept on March 1, 2015.

OCAS (Oklahoma Cost Accounting Systems) is the SDE (State Department of Education) mandated coding system for all Oklahoma Public Schools.  SDE provides an Annual Manual each year as well as periodic valudation rules that determine allowable combinations between the various components of OCAS (such as Function combinations with Program and Subject codes).

September 1:  SDE Deadline for Annual Reporting of District Revenue and Expenditures (All Funds)

October 1:  SDE Deadline for Submitting FY 2015 Estimate of Needs
